– it’s what we all wish for: a cosy little place which protects us from the noise and dust of the city and from unwanted gazes. It can be a green hedge, wooden wall or a cover of flowers. Here is a place we feel comfortable and can truly relax in!
Gabions and walls
– both are important elements of garden design. Gabions are stones in a metal cage, which can work wonders on real estate with hills and slopes. Landscape gardeners construct dry stone walls without mortar and often plant in them.
Onion sets
– The season opens with onion sets, which you can find soon, even in supermarkets. Planting distance is around 10 cm, one third of the bulb should be above ground, and when the green tops turn yellow the onions have ripened.
Fresh and healthy: wild garlic
– the scent and taste of fresh wild garlic are simply delicious. Whether as pesto, oil or stirred with quark, wild garlic is an interesting alternative to good old garlic.
